About Watson Chapel

Watson Chapel sits southwest of downtown Pine Bluff at the fork of US-79 (Camden Road) and Highway 54 (Sulphur Springs Road). The community takes its name from Benjamin Watson, a Cumberland Presbyterian minister who settled in nearby Sulphur Springs in the 1870s. Today it is home to the Watson Chapel School District, including Watson Chapel High School, Watson Chapel Junior High, Coleman Intermediate, L. L.
